Varna

Varna – Bulgaria’s summer capital

The lively port town of Varna is situated in north-eastern Bulgaria at the foot of the Frangensko plateau and was once the first terminus of the legendary Orient Express. The warm climate, beautiful beaches and Mediterranean flair make Varna extremely attractive. Right next to the main promenade there extends a fine sandy beach. Tip: From the bathing resort there are ferries to Odessa and Istanbul.
